Advice on how to remove Crayon Stains

For crayon stains on upholstery, press transparent tape against the crayon marks to remove them. Then use the following directions:

  1. Scrape loose crayon off and pick up large pieces
  2. Vacuum thoroughly without brush agitation
  3. Blot with a non-flammable dry cleaning fluid such as on a white towel
  4. Do not pour directly on the carpet or you will destroy the latex glue holding the primary and secondary backing together
  5. Any remaining colour can usually be removed by blotting with alcohol
